This wine comes from our preferred vineyards within the traditional wine-growing village of Kitzeck im Sausal. With its high altitude and unique slate soils, the village of "Kitzeck-Sausal" offers great conditions for growing Riesling. It can be proven that Riesling was the most cultivated grape variety in Kitzeck-Sausal at the end of the 19th century.

Fermentation and ageing take place entirely in steel tanks.
